Build your application
You build your application using the Triggre Designer. Below are some tutorial videos that explain in detail how to use the Triggre Designer.
We recommend to build the exact same application yourself, following the same steps as in the videos. That way you will very quickly understand how to use the Triggre Designer and in in no time create applications yourself!
1. Triggre Tour
Learn which parts the Triggre Designer consists of, what these parts do, and how you navigate to each component.
To log into the Triggre Designer, go to your instance and use the username and password you received via email. The instance is the link that will look like this: [yourname].triggre.net.
In this video you will learn how to set up your application’s menus with the Appearance Editor. You’ll learn how to divide your menus into sections and categories, and how to add and sort menu items.
Learn how to design the warehouse of your application in the Triggre Designer. You’ll learn how to add data items, how to add properties to data items, and how to connect different data items to eachother.
4. Creating a user flow
In this video you will learn how to create a so-called User flow in Triggre. User flows are partly the Face and partly the Factory of your application. In other words, user flows bring together the processes and screens that your users are going to use in your application.
5. Building user flows
In the previous video, you learned that there are different ways to create a User flow. In this video you will learn how to expand your User flow with all kinds of different processes, decisions and screens.
6. Building flow parts
In this video we show you how to create Flow parts. Flow parts are the Factory of your application and handle all kinds of processes from storing and looking up data, to executing complex calculations.
7. Building automation flows
In addition to the User flows, you can also use your Flow parts in Automation flows. This is a part of your application’s factory that works completely automatic, so there is no user involved in these processes. In this video you will learn how to build Automation flows in the Triggre Designer.
8. Users, roles and permissions
In this video we show you how you can easily add user management to your application. We also show you how to quickly set up a complete roles and rights management.
9. Page editor
This video teaches you the tips and tricks of the Page editor. This allows you to easily create awesome screens in your User flows. Among other things, you will learn how to work on a multi-block page and how to dynamically change data in one block, when a user executed an action in another block.
10. Creating a repeat action
This video shows you how to make a repeat action in the Triggre Designer. For example, sending a customer-specific email for all orders that are ready to be sent today.
With repeat actions, you can make your processes even more powerful than they already are!
11. Navigation between user flows
In some applications you will create, it can be useful to make a user flow, or part of it, accessible from a different user flow. For example, editing customer data from the order screen.
This way you can re-use your user flows, which saves an enormous amount of time in building, for example, management functionalities in your application.
12. Validating form fields
In this video, you’ll learn how to provide form fields with comprehensive validation. For example, you can combine validation of different form fields.
With extensive validations, it is possible to create very powerful forms, for example in complex questionnaires.
13. Advanced use of calculations
Triggre is able to perform very complex calculations. In this video we show you how to make a complex calculation in the Triggre Designer.
A good example is the calculation of shipping costs. These are often dependent on many variables and thus come into a complex way.
14. Advanced use of decisions
In this video, we’ll show you how to make advanced decision moments in Triggre. Think of decision-making moments based on text, numbers, or a list of options.
By using these kinds of advanced decision-making moments, you can design very powerful processes with the Triggre Designer.
15. Advanced automation flows
Triggre can automate processes. With this video, we’ll show you how to use the automation flows to perform smart automatic processes based on changes in your application’s data.
16. How to make a catalog
In this video we show you how to make a catalogue by cleverly using the editor page in the Triggre Designer.
The catalog contains a list of data, for example rooms, on which a user can filter with a number of form fields.
17. Connecting other applications
Connect other applications to your Triggre application. Send data from Triggre to other applications and start processes in Triggre, which are started by other applications.
This way you can fully integrate your Triggre application into the existing application landscape of your organization!
18. How to make a questionnaire
In this video we will teach you how to make a comprehensive questionnaire with the user flows in Triggre. You will learn how to ask a follow-up question or skip questions, based on the answer to the previous question.
Think about how to fill in your taxes. If you give a certain answer, you skip questions or get extra questions.
